Catherine DePalantino
Catherine DePalantino of Warminster passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017. She was 86.
She was born Feb. 24, 1931, to the late John and Elizabeth Fanelli. She had 13 brothers and sisters.
She married her husband, Albert DePalantino on Jan. 5, 1951. They were married for 66 years.
Kay attended Jenkintown Grammar School and High School before moving on to the working world of Bell Telephone and then PECO as a switchboard operator. After her retirement, she worked for her son at DePalantino and Company CPAs as their tax season scheduler.
She was a member of St. John Bosco Parish where her sons attended grade school.
Her favorite hobby was the weekly "girls' night" with her sisters as they did ceramics at her sister's home.
Kay is survived by her husband, Albert; sons, Albertjohn and Thomas; daughter-in-law, Tracey Tarquinio; brother, John Fanelli; and sister Marie DeRosa. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.
She was the sister of the late Danato, Salvatore, Joseph, Lucy, and Philamena.
A viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at St. John Bosco Church, 235 East County Line Road, Warminster. Kay requested a private burial.
The family wishes to thank Neshaminy Manor Nursing home and all of those who cared for her during her illness. Memorial donations can be made in Catherine DePalantino's name to the Anne Silverman Community Health Clinic, 595 W State St, Doylestown, PA 18901 in lieu of flowers. The Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic provides free medical and dental care for uninsured low-income adults and children residing in Bucks County.
