Elvira C. "Vera" (Martello) Galante of Hatboro died Friday, Sept. 15, 2017.
She was the wife of the late Robert N. Galante; mother of Donna L. Galante (Paul), Robert M. (Jeanette), Susan M. Galante, and Lisa A. Bacino (Brian); grandmother of  Carina, Nate, Isabella, Sabina, Jessica and Max; sister of Angie Cordua, Leonora Keim, and the late Annie Spraga and John Martello. 
"Vera" as she was known to her family and friends, brought love and light everywhere she went. Witty, elegant, always a pleasure to be with, she made everyone smile. Vera loved visiting her grandchildren in Florida and California and her family flocked back to Horsham to soak up the love. Vera enjoyed the company of her family and many friends, playing cards, going to the movies and having lunch at local restaurants. Vera was courageous and strong, never letting fear or stress overwhelm her and her family. She made her home the warmest, safest, and most loving place. She will be remembered for her ability to make the most amazing Italian dishes, her warm sense of humor, her devotion to her faith and her ability to make a lasting    and memorable impact on everyone she met.
Relatives and friends may call 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Church. County Line and Easton Roads, Warrington. Funeral Mass will be noon. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
