Obituary of Robert J. Gordish

Robert J. Gordish passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the age of 67. He was the husband of Loretta Gordish. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son James Gordish (wife Sarah Gordish) and daughter Jenna O’Brien (husband Dan O’Brien). He also leaves behind four grandchildren Jack, Abby, Charlie and Ethan who were his sunshine.

He spent his whole career in the field of education. His many roles included special education teacher, elementary school principal, and director of student services at Hatboro-Horsham School District. Bob was extremely active in community service from coaching youth sports teams, organizing major school events, and chairing committees for the Legacy Oaks community where he resided for the last eight years. His love for travel and food, his strength, compassion and generosity will truly be missed by family, friends, and friends who are family.

Relatives and friends may call at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at St Robert Bellarmine, 856 Euclid Ave, Warrington, PA 18976. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment is private.
