Obituary of Rita C. Cassidy

Rita McGarrigle Cassidy - January 15, 1927 - March 11 2018  has joined her parents, James McGarrigle and Katherine Geraghty McGarrigle, her husband, Stephen Cassidy, Sr. and son Thomas Cassidy in eternal life.  She is survived by her sister, Mary McGarrigle Nunan, children Brian Cassidy (Jane Moneghan), Stephen Cassidy (Peggy Moneghan), Maureen Cassidy, Marty Cassidy (Maria Irizarry);  14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Born in Phila., raised on Duncannon Ave, graduated from Little Flower High School.  Married in 1951 to Stephen Cassidy, long time resident of Woodlawn Road in Warminster, more recently a vibrant resident of Neshaminy Manor in Warrington.

Rita, a beautiful Irish Lady, will be forever remembered for her winning smile, positive attitude and generous spirit. 

Funeral arrangements will be on Monday, March 19, 2017 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church 654 Hatboro Rd. Richboro.Visitation 9:00 am to 10:30 am followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30.
