Obituary of Donald J. Mahon

Donald Joseph Mahon of Warrington, PA passed away on December 31, 2020 in his home at the age of 81. Don was born on April 30, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA to Sylvester and Florence (nee Byrnes) Mahon. He served his country in the U.S. Navy, had a long and successful career as an electrical technician, and enjoyed a 61-year long marriage with his beloved wife, Mary (nee Velas) Mahon. He was known as an avid golfer, an adventurous pontoon captain, and, above all else, a family man. Don is survived by his wife as well as his four loving daughters Rosemary Papay (Louis), Denise Odeitus (Richard), Kathleen Pisechko (Ronald), and Karen Mullen (Samuel), seven adoring grandchildren, and five rambunctious great-grandsons. He is preceded in death by his parents and his four brothers, John, William, Charles, and Vincent. Due to current circumstances and our concern for the health and safety of family and friends, the funeral service and interment will be private.
