Obituary of Lucy S. Reese

REESE, Lucy S. Passed away on March 18, 2021 after a long illness. Born in Lansford, PA, Lucy was 89 years old. Predeceased by her husband, George A. Reese, Jr., and her daughter, Susan Reese Abrams, she is survived by her daughters, Catherine Urban (Robert), Laura Reese, Elizabeth Weber (Joseph), Jean Deetscreek (Gary), Julie Pendlebury (Chad), thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, her sisters, Mary Anne Whitehead and Dorothy Yanoshik, and many nieces and nephews. Lucy graduated from Albert Einstein Medical Center School of Nursing in 1985. Lucy was a registered nurse, and excelled in her career as the Director of Nursing at several area nursing homes. Her compassionate and caring manner touched many lives. Lucy retired in 2007 from the Pine Run Community Health Center where she worked as the Bridgeways Resident Care Manager.
