Obituary of Theresa Ann Plunkett

Theresa Ann (Maher) Plunkett formerly of Warrington and Hatboro returned to God on March 25th, 2021. She was 92. She was the wife of 67 years to the late Louis Swift Plunkett. Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Maher. She was the mother of Jeff Plunkett (Maureen) and Chris Hunt (Tom); grandmother of Katrina, Marissa (Matt), Ryan, Zeb, Elsie, Anora, Alberta, Amilia, and the late Carl; great grandmother of Elleanor Rose and sister of Joe Maher (Liz), the late Rita McIlhenny (Don) and Bob Maher (Agnes) Theresa was a professional Homemaker and Hostess. She was always dressed "to the nines" and her homes were beautifully appointed. She was a tremendous asset to Lou during his 69 years as a Funeral Director. She was a longtime member of St. John Bosco and St. Robert Bellarmine Parish. Theresa and Lou spent many happy summers in Strathmere N.J. and enjoyed countless meals and family celebrations as Dining Members at Old York Road Country Club. Relatives and friends may greet the family Wednesday March, 31st 9:00 A.M. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church 856 Euclid Av. Warrington. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. and will be live streamed on the church website. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham. In lieu of flowers donations to The Carmelite Monastery 1400 66th Avenue Philadelphia Pa. 19126 would be greatly appreciated.
