Chris and I were roommates at Virginia Tech originally in a dorm but later in an apartment. He would always tell the most intriguing stories that I always found fascinating. Most involved his time on a mountaintop in Germany and some were from New Jersey.
I don’t ever recall seeing Chris angry and you can’t say that about everyone. Although I lost track of him after graduation and his wedding, I will miss him. He was several years older than me but he played a very important role in my youth and my life.
Rest comfortably my friend.
Chris was an amazing person. A wonderful thoughtful man and a high quality mentor. I thought of him as a true Renaissance Man. Well rounded with many areas of knowledge and expertise, including the arts. Very talented painter, I felt privileged that I saw a few pieces before he posted them. My thoughts and prayers to his family as they celebrate Chris's life.
