Obituary of Edward B. Conn

Edward Barry Conn (Ed or Eddie) February 14, 1948 to August 13, 2022.

Ed passed peacefully at home, with his wife by his side, Saturday August 13, 2022 after a long battle with prostate cancer.  Ed is survived by his wife, Carole M Honisch and his six children, Colleen Filer-Van Dusen (Sean), Doreen M Letofsky (Charles Kozlowski), Janet Filer (Marv Perrin), Jac Filer (Angela), Tricia Conn and Todd Conn (Colleen Cain) as well as his brother, Dennis Conn (Mary Ann), eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Ed is pre-deceased by his parents, Edward J. Conn and Dolores M. Conn as well as his mother-in-law, Claire Rose.

Ed was a veteran, having served in the Navy for four years before attending college at Penn State Ogontz and Temple.  Ed also spent most of career working as a technician for Mettler Toledo where he was recognized for a variety of accomplishment through training programs to learn new processes and performance accolades.

Ed was well loved by many and held family and friends in the highest regards.  Ed had a passion for machinery and loved collecting things that fascinated him, such as trains and railroad lanterns. 

The family is requesting donations to Jefferson Medical Oncology Willow Grove, Asplundh Cancer Pavilion, 3941 Commerce Avenue, Willow Grove, PA  19090-1104, in lieu of flowers. 

Visitors will be received starting at 9:45am on Thursday August 18, 2022 at Saint Catherineof Siena Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham PA 19044 with Mass following at 11am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
