Missy was my friend and colleague. I had the pleasure of working with her for 7 years and it was never a dull moment. I am grateful to have spent time with her. She was one of a kind with quite an abundance of character. I will always remember her beautiful smile and her outpouring of generosity. Missy will always be in our hearts and memories. May she rest in peace and love.

Missy was my friend, my employee and one of the most kindhearted people that I have ever known. We found each other again in 2008 as I needed help with good old BlackBerrys, and she was looking for a new path. It was a perfect match. The rest is history. She was so passionate about her role beyond words. She helped so many people throughout the years at BlackRock and they were very grateful for her thoughtful assistance. She was nothing short of our Commander and Chief of mobile.
There will only be one Missy. She did things her own way right to the very end. She remained so positive throughout her illness because she was Missy. She was an independent strong-willed woman who found solutions to any problem that she encountered throughout the various stages of her life. I will always be grateful for her friendship through the years. Her spirit will remain forever in my heart. I will close with this, Missy was well known for her southern upbringing by responding in the most respectful manner such as yes Ma’am, no Ma’am and Dear. Rest now Missy ”My Dear”.

I moved to Elm Ave only a few months ago and I was lucky enough to have Missy as my neighbor. I literally only spoke to her 3 times but what an impact she made. I adopted a puppy in March and she was always happy to see him and offer me some much needed advice. She even came to my doorway one day with a bag of treats for him. I often pause on my walks with him and remember her kindness and beautiful smile. Rest in peace Missy and thank you!

I am so saddened to hear of Missy's illness and passing. She was a wonderful person, incredibly diligent in her work and always a pleasure to interact with. Whenever I spoke with her I always enjoyed the conversation beyond the technical/support aspect she provided, whether it be the destination I was traveling or the nuances of dealing with wireless rules in different countries.
I am glad she is out of pain, but sad for the world to lose such a positive and good person.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Missy one time through my friend Bill as we made her a few baked goods she could eat. I was humbled by her kindness..Al H

Missy was a longtime friend and colleague for 20 years, and she fought this disease her way. I was happy to be her caregiver and make sure she wasn’t alone, along with our BLK family who were there when she needed them most. Her strength and fight was there til the end,
Grateful to have her as part of my life, grateful for the time we shared, the similar experiences we both went thru, and to know the people that were her forever family. Sad to lose our friend, but knowing she is finally in a better place.
