Obituary of John J Mistretta

John J. Mistretta, Sr., 79, of Lansdale, PA, passed peacefully on February 23, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Born October 20, 1943, in Philadelphia to the late Santino and Rose (nee Scelsi) Mistretta. He was a graduate of William Tennent  High School, Class of 1961.

John had a successful career as a Customs Agent for U.S. Customs and Border Protection for 25 Years until his retirement in 2009 

He enjoyed spending quality time with his dog.

John was survived by his devoted son John J.Mistretta  Jr and his wife Debra of Lansdale. He was the dear grandfather of Eric Mistretta and the beloved brother of Anthony Mistretta and his wife Colleen and Catherine Delrosso and her husband Lenny.

Relatives and friends are invited from 9:00 to 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, to Louis Swift Plunkett Funeral Home, 529 N. York Road, Hatboro, PA. with Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
