To the Kern family,
Very sorry for you loss. I know Lou since Fr. Dougherty started the summer carnival, and when his wife was in the room next to my grandson in Abington hospital. Lou had many stories about his construction jobs (especially with Kelly construction), he and his dad had a great reputation for the quality of their work. He completed many projects for St. John Bosco Church, the brick work on the now electric sign, the Brick work on the bottom of the white columns in the entrance to the church. You may not know this but Lou also did the brick work at Mason Mill Park in Upper Moreland at the gazebo for the LIONS CLUB LION, where his name is at the base of the statue. It was my pleasure to take Lou to Sunday Mass and breakfast (the EAGLE DINNER) and on the first Sunday of the month to the HOLY NAME MEETINGS. I am going to miss Lou.
