Obituary of Anthony W. Trotter
Anthony W. (Tony) Trotter died on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Cooney). Tony was the son of the late Dominic W and Elsie T. (Ansuini) Trotter.
He is survived by his children: Anthony Jr (Bill) and his wife Christine Koszta of Madison, NJ, Christopher of Horsham, Robert and his wife Jennifer Dunkle of Warminster, Ann and her husband Buddy Carroll of Kenbridge VA, Peter and his wife Rosa Flores of Stroudsburg and Brian and his wife Lanise of Bradenton Fl. Thirteen grandchildren also survive him. Tony was predeceased by his daughters, Marie Rickman (Rodney) of Princeton NJ and Baby Susan Ann and his sister Elsie M. Trotter.
He graduated from Germantown HS where he pitched varsity baseball and LaSalle College Evening Division with a degree in Marketing. Tony was a very proud veteran of the US Marine Corps.
Tony spent years successfully introducing compact tractors for Kubota and Mahindra Tractors into the Northeast US.
He served Horsham as a Little League Coach, as a Republican Committeeman and currently a 25-year member of the executive board for the Horsham Water and Sewer Authority and the Horsham Police Pension Board and was a founding member of the Horsham Neighbors.
Tony was a member of St. Joseph Church in Warrington and formerly sang in the church choir.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday January 13th from 9:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. at St Joseph Church 1795 Columbia Ave. Warrington Pa. 18976. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham.
