Obituary of Carmen H. Celino Jr.
Carmen Celino, beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 69 after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia..
Carmen was born and raised in Philadelphia. He was the son of Dorothea (Dot) Celino of Marlton, NJ and the late Carmen H. (Bud) Celino Sr. Carmen is survived by his loving sisters Dee (Chris) and Sue (Jim); brother Steve (Heather)daughter Alexis (Sean) and her mother, Gail; granddaughter Kora; and longtime companion Marissa; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Carmen had a passion for Philadelphia sports teams, but he found great joy in spending time with his horses at the racetrack with family and friends. He spent most of his career working in the fire and life safety field.
Carmen will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and love of family. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, January 20th at 11:00 AM at the Wayside Chapel, Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler. A celebration of Carmen’s life will begin at 12:00 in the chapel, with a private interment.
