Obituary of John Peter Boland
John “Jack” Peter Boland of Warminster, PA passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 78. He was born on September 11, 1945 in Berwyn, PA to Peter John and Ann (Devine) Boland. He was the second of five children. He grew up in Berwyn, PA and graduated high school.
Jack, as he was liked to be called, met and married Madeline Pavie. They moved to Warminster, PA where they bought a home. Jack worked for The International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 542 for 50 years before he retired. His love of Traditional Country Music lead him to be a Disc Jockey on the local community radio, WRDV in Hatboro. He did his show, Country Gold Classics, for 30 years playing traditional country music. He also loved trains and spent a lot of his time with his buddies traveling around PA to watch them in action. Jack was devoted to St. Joseph Church and ushered there for many years. After his first wife, Madeline, died, he met and married Martha Jane Esty. He also loved his dogs and had several of them that he shared with both his wives in their time together.
Jack is predeceased by his sister Mary Elizabeth (Brown) and brother Charles. He is survived by his brothers, Kevin (Karen) and Brian (Terry); his nephew Lenny Brown (Mary), niece Cheryl Schinski (Darren), great nephew and niece Jeremy and Hailey Schinski.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday April 2nd at St. Joseph Church, 1795 Columbia Ave., Warrington, PA. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30am. Internment will follow Mass at the Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA.
