Obituary of William P. Cunningham Jr.

William P. Cunningham of Warrington died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 83. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William and Dorothy (Keller) Cunningham. He was a purchasing agent and was employed by Bell Atlantic for 35 years until his retirement in 1990. Mr. Cunningham was an Eagle Scout and Scout Master with the Holmsburg Baptist Church Troop. In his free time his was an avid deer hunter and golfer. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Anna M. Cunningham (Rossana). He was the devoted father of Lynn C. Gulla and her husband, Dale; and step father of Jean M. Diodato and her husband, Ken Eckert. He also is survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, William E. Cunningham, in 2007. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, at St. Roberts Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Ave., Warrington with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley.
